BEQUAL

The first French workshop took place in Blois on 07/09/2010.

Objectives of the workshop was to introduce the trainers of OPCALIA Centre Auvergne Limousin to CQAF and BEQUAL benchmarking tool, as well as to demonstrate them the necessity for helping training organisations managing their Quality Systems. OPCALIA is one of the two most important organisations that finance the training of private companies in France.

Objective of the translational conference that took place in Piraeus on 24/06/2010 was the presentation and launching of the online benchmarking tool and the portal on Quality Assurance in VET.

The transnational conference in Greece had a remarkable success, with all actors of VET in Greece invited and represented in the conference through 58 participants (including various types of VET institutions, the National Accreditation Centre-EKEPIS, the Organisation for VET-OEEK, the General Secretariat for Lifelong Learning and social partners).

23 VET providers, policy makers and stakeholders participated in the workshop that took place in Bucharest on 9/6/2010.

The overall objective of the workshop was to disseminate the Bequal project, to assist and support the VET providers filling in the benchmarking questionnaire and using the online tool.

During the workshop in Florida, we interviewed several experts and stakeholders on the issue of quality assurance in VET and the necessity of a benchmarking tool to allow comparison of different VET centres and exchange of good practices.

The next partners meeting of BEQUAL project will be organised in Athens, hosted by the promoter IDEC in collaboration with the partner OBES.

The first German workshop took place on Fürstenfeldbruck on 06/11/2009 during the annual meeting of Learning Regions.

The annual member conference of the association of Learning Regions Germany was used to make its members familiar with the BEQUAL tool and to introduce to them the questionnaire inclusively the evaluation of the questionnaire.

The Spanish workshop took place in Catarroja, Valencia, on 23/10/2009.

The workshop in Valencia was the first opportunity to present the preliminary results of the project in a wide audience. 22 VET providers and stakeholders participated and contributed by participating in the benchmarking and by providing feedback regarding BEQUAL portal.

After expert review, the benchmarking tool is finalised and published for end-user evaluation. You can download it from the documents section. Please feel free to use it and send us a filled questionnaire along with the evaluation sheet. Your help is valuable, in order first to validate the benchmarking tool and second to gather enough benchmarking data, in order to launch the tool on-line.

The 3rd partners meeting took place in Valencia on 22-23 of October 2009, hosted by Florida Association.

The first BEQUAL workshop took place in Athens on 12/12/2008.

Main objectives of the workshop were to present the project to the members of OBES and through them disseminate it in a much more wide audience and to gather input of the issues that are considered important from the point of view of the social partners.

Vom 18. bis 19. Juni fand in Tours, Frankreich das zweite europäische Treffen im Rahmen des Projektes BEQUAL statt. An der Veranstaltung nahmen Qualitätsexperten aus 6 Ländern teil. Ziel des von der Europäischen Kommission 2008 bewilligten Projekts ist die praktische Umsetzung des gemeinsamen Europäischen Qualitätssicherungsrahmens (CQAF) anhand eines Benchmarking-Instruments zur Qualitätssicherung in der beruflichen Bildung.

Mithilfe des Online-Tools, das sowohl einen Quick-Check als auch ein ausführliches Evaluationsverfahren enthält, können Bildungsanbieter das in der Organisation angewandte Qualitätsmanagement anhand der Kriterien des CQAF auf Stärken und Schwächen hin überprüfen.

Darüber hinaus wird eine "Good Practice"-Datenbank zur Verfügung stehen, die von Einrichtungen der Berufsbildung genutzt werden kann. Mittels eines derzeit im Aufbau befindlichen Internet-Portals wird Experten und Bildungspraktikern die Möglichkeit geboten, sich über Foren und Blogs auszutauschen.

P&W wird vom 11. bis 13. Dezember 2008 am kick-off meeting zum Projekt BEQUAL teilnehmen. Die Veranstaltung findet in Athen statt, Ausrichter ist die griechische Einrichtung IDEC S.A. Ziel des Leonardo da Vinci Projekts ist die Entwicklung eines europäischen Benchmarking-Instruments zur Qualitätssicherung in der beruflichen Bildung.

Das Projekt wurde im Rahmen des Aufrufes 2008 von der Europäischen Exekutivagentur für Bildung, Kultur und Audiovisuelles als zentrale Maßnahme im Europäischen Programm für lebenslanges Lernen ausgewählt. Die Projektpartschaft umfasst 7 Partner aus 5 Ländern. Unterstützt wird das Projekt darüber hinaus von 8 nationalen Verbänden der beruflichen Bildung, staatlichen Einrichtungen sowie Sozialpartnern.
